Olga Filatova, a tech investment/marketing consultant from St Petersburg, Russia, muses at the sign on the ancient masonry wall of King George V (KGV) Memorial Park being swallowed up by the roots of the many bayan trees there. KGV Memorial Park in Sai Ying Pun is a historical park, also known as the Little Garden. It was built to commemorate the passing away of King George V in January 1936, one of the few parks in Hong Kong that retains its former colonial connection.
