Karma, a multi-talented artist, photographer, traveler, composer and writer, explores the abandoned kiln at Tai Om Village, Lam Tsuen, Tai Po.

Tai Om Village dates back to over 100 years ago. It has a “Luk Tak Study Room”, a school built in the 19th century and is a two-story western-style building. Before the war, it was the main school in Tai Om and nearby villages but is now abandoned.

There is a porcelain kiln just outside the village. It is believed to be built over 100 years ago. The ancient kiln is still intact, but some bricks have fallen, reflecting that the village has once a thriving porcelain industry.
