古廟供奉主管海洋及氣象的神明洪聖爺,現為香港一級歷史建築。

The Hung Shing Temple on Queen’s Road East in Wanchai was originally a small altar on a rock on the coast, built in 1847 by the citizens. It was expanded in the 10th year of Hamfung’s reign during the Qing Dynasty (1860). The temple was originally located by the sea, but it is now inland due to reclamation.

The ancient temple enshrines Lord Hung Shing, the god in charge of the ocean and weather, and is now a Grade I historic building in Hong Kong.
