有網民號召將抗議升級,發動「罷市、罷工、罷課」,各自於立法會大樓附近添馬公園野餐,以作抗議。結集民間力量向政府及建制派議員施壓。
一天之內已有數百間中小企、商舖、團體自發響應6.12罷市、罷工一天,各行各業都有。家長聯盟亦呼籲家長在與子女有充分共識下,自行向學校請假一天參與罷課。

Some netizens called for the escalation of the protests and launch a city-wide “strike, shop closure and class boycott”. Individuals could have a picnic at the Tamar Park near the Legislative Council Building to protest. The civil society will put collective pressure on the government and the members of the pro-establishment legislators.
Within a day, hundreds of small and medium-sized enterprises, shops, and organisations spontaneously responded to the 6.12 strike from all walks of life. The Parents’ Union also appeals to parents to let their children to join the class boycott.
