元朗張氏山厦村太平清醮，2021年1月13日至20日舉行，有舞麒麟慶祝。
麒麟是一種具有龍、馬和鹿特徵的神話中的生物。在中國文化中，麒麟與龍、鳳和龜被視為瑞獸，分別象徵和平、吉祥和長壽。舞麒麟沒有舞獅那麼普遍，是客家文化。
山厦村太平清醮每十年一屆。主要目的是祈福消災、濟陰利陽，向神明禮拜祈福，超幽渡冥法事。
Kirin dance performance at the Tai Ping Ching Chiu, an extravagant spiritual purification festival, by the Cheung clan in Shan Ha Tsuen, Yuen Long, held from January 13-17, 2021.
Kirin is a mythical creature with the characteristics of dragons, horses and reindeer. In Chinese culture, kirin is deemed a revered animal, along with the dragon, phoenix and turtle, which symbolise peace, auspice and longevity respectively. Kirin dance is less common than lion dance and only practiced in Hakka culture.
Tai Ping Ching Chiu at Shan Ha Tsuen is held once every decade. The main purpose is to pray for blessings and avoid disasters, to benefit the Yin and Yang, to pray to the gods, and to transcend the underworld.
