沼蛙，又名貢德氏蛙，蹤跡遍布全港，是大型蛙，體長約70-100毫米。特徵：皮膚光滑，背部淺棕色，側面深棕色。鼓膜明顯有白邊，背兩側有粗邊。以吃蟋蟀、蟑螂及蚯蚓為主。
雄性沼蛙在求偶時會發出一連串類似狗吠般的鳴叫聲。叫時腮下會谷起一個氣泡。
The marsh frog, aka Gunther’s frog, can be found all over Hong Kong. It is a large frog with a body length of about 70-100 mm. Features: Smooth skin, light brown on the back, dark brown on the sides. The tympanic membrane clearly has white edges and there are thick edges on both sides of the back. It mainly eats crickets, cockroaches and earthworms.
Male marsh frogs make a series of barking-like sound when courting. A bubble balloons out under the cheek when barking.
