Paphos Archaeological Park contains the ruins of the major part of the important ancient Greek and Roman City located in Nea Paphos section of the coastal city in southwest Cyprus. The sites and monuments, with extensive exquisite mosaic, date from prehistoric times through the Middle Ages and is still under excavation.
Marina Lokna from Tallinn, Estonia frolics at Saranta Kolones, a ruined medieval fortress with arched gateways still standing. It takes its name from the large number of granite columns that were found on the site and probably once formed part of the ancient agora.
Nea Pafos was named UNESCO World Heritage since 1980.
